Sam Green

Sam Green has served in the turf industry for 21 years on the Superintendents side of the business.  He graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in Crop and Soil Environmental Sciences with an option in Turfgrass Management.  Sam got his start in the industry at Harbour Town Golf Links and his stops included Assistant Superintendent at Congressional Country Club where he participated in the US Senior Open and US Open.  His first Superintendent job was at the Country Club of Sapphire Valley and his path has taken him to Dataw Island Club, Country Club of Landfall, and finally to Eagle Point Golf Club in Wilmington, NC.

Sam has extensive experience growing turf. He has vast knowledge dealing with poor water conditions. This experience serves him well in his position with AQUA-AID.

Sam and his wife Beth currently live in Wilmington, NC and have a son Samuel McDuff.  He enjoys spending time with his family, active in his church, duck hunting, fishing, and other outdoor activities.
